Just as a general comment I don't know why anybody would short or put the boxmakers or intc etc. now. They have all been consolidating for a while and there has been a whole bunch of doom and gloom over the past few months. I would be inclined to think this is the bottom for that group. The nets are the ones going down.

I consider them a lost cause at this point. The main thing that could save them is the Aug 7 public release of benchmarks for the AMD K7 chip.. The unofficial reports show it spanking the pants off anything intel has to offer, and on Aug 7 all the companies with AMD non-disclosure agreements are allowed to start talking to the press.

He has Oct. puts with a 65 strike price, and the stock has gone up maybe 3/4 a point since he bought? He better sell the farm right away!!!
