t2K - re: AOL and AMZN, yeah, I hear you, but IMO, AOL is a good short simply because the float is bigger and there is more money to bleed from than AMZN. Don't misunderstand me, AMZN is a great short, but I like to short above 100, simply because it can jump up on stupid news much higher (short interest+relatively smaller float+easier to move by mo-mo).

Congrats on your trading - but remember, the second you get too cocky, you WILL lose money. I've done, I still do it - I still get too cocky. But maybe you'll be a faster learner than me<g>.

Good luck!

Morgan

AOL has been an obvious short for the last 3 weeks. Sell into any rally has been very rewarding to me recently on all nuts. I also covered AOL shorts this afternoon and sold all the put I bought on this issue for a 3 bagger. I think that MSFT is coming into the range that I will consider buying. Bought first batch at 84 1/2 before close, probably for a quick pop above 85 tomorrow morning. Will definitely consider buying heavily at 80-81, then at 76-77. Don't think it will go below that level.

Also take a long look at PCS. I loaded the issue at 56 last week, sold on the pop at 67, and bought back today at 60 1/2. It will be a easy 2 bagger within 12 months, and the best about this issue is low volatility.

So for me is PCS and QCOM right now, MSFT in the near future. I have been doing great since I quit longing nuts. It will take a 50-60 million share day for AOL to bottom out, and it will come after a sharp reversal. I said that in 2 months ago that AOL did not find the true bottom at 89. Volume to low. I will definitely consider buying some for a nice quick deat cat bounce on that issue.

AOL is a very good company. But its stock price is still nothing more than a POS.

good luck,
larry!
