Regarding those net IPOs, the most amazing thing is the huge increase in the number of IPOs per month. I think this is clear evidence of the law of supply and demand, a law that will eventually drop this market 40%, and destroy the net stocks.

I thought I'd heard everything until this morning when YHOO disclosed that it has been in talks for 6 weeks to acquire ATHM for "something more than its current 17B". Sounds like desperation to float a dead deal over the airwaves in order to stem the inut bleeding. You'd think the acquiring company would be getting hit on the head with such news, but YHOO actually gapped up! Truly a sign to head for the hills. Just maybe they're horrified at the crap lined up in the IPO pipe.
