You've emphasized an interesting trend. The disparities associated with individual wealth (or lack thereof) will be a significant contributing factor to the next revolution. I respectfully disagree with your belief that this level of civil insurrection could not occur in our lifetimes. Racial tensions continue to increase, the wealthy are becoming wealthier, government corruption seems to be part of the job description on Capitol Hill, and illegal immigrants are flooding across our borders in unprecedented numbers. I try to dwell on the more pleasant aspects of life most of the time, though.
