roger,

primestar subs are history if i recall correctly. an acquisition took away the client base.

CSG is on record as stating that they are not interested in signing up new service operators that are still in the nascent stages of convergence. they are actively bidding the cable systems with an energetic focus on delivering the widest possible services... paging, telephony, data, and entertainment.

Net sub additions are expected to come from new contracts AND from SO acquisition derived contracts.

admittedly they are very weak internationally. perhaps this is where they hope to improve with their indicated acquisition strategy.

They are also planning on continuing to increase their $ avg rev per sub. I think they will do it although my money is not yet where my mouth is.

Do you have any insight into my earlier query regarding the subject of options re-entry preserving tax-loss? Of course the way the market is behaving, I may yet have a month to get back in.
