I am going to help JXM out with his question as it was too broad for the likes of SI. Let's start small Jenna made a post indicating a developing relationship with SI. Does she or anyone that you know that is associated with her company in fact pay you money for anything other than a membership to SI. The definition of "membership" in this question is clearly not one of a paid advertiser. If she does not pay you money for anything other than a membership at this time, is it currently being negotiated? Is calling someone a sociopath acceptable under the terms of use? If anyone other than Jenna makes that identical post after having long bouts of fighting with someone, will they not be suspended if Jenna is not suspended?

Bryan, Thanks for your response. It is too bad that you don't. If you did, perhaps you could put in the contract that they had to act like professionals while on SI instead of a playground for their personal version of "Clash of the Titans". JXM

Bryan, OK, this time I will do my best to be a little bit less inflammatory... This is a real recommendation. Create a "Gurus Only" Section. I stole this from a post that I saw about A@P's site, so it isn't really an original idea. Here's what I would do: -Create a special area for gurus to have their own thread -Use a different listing technique so that cross-posting is more difficult to traditional SI threads -Allow any amount of advertising -Charge an extra $10/month to the great unwashed for the privilege of the expanded services -Charge the guru an extra $100/month for the access to SI members Then you could have special pay-per-view events....you know, like "Celebrity Deathmatch" or something. Hi bryan(jeff too if you still lurk), Hope things are well with ya'll. My brother is not a member of SI, but used to frequent it often. Mostly for the comparison charts, and occasionally to check out the chatter on a few threads. So now, he is unable to access the comparison charts, and has stopped visiting SI. silver lining: He called me today and asked if he would be able to get to the Classic, charts and all, if he were to join. I told him to join, and somehow, we'd get him hooked up back to the Classic. Since I'm still using it, I figure he will be able to also. Great marketing idea! He wants to know if lifetime memberships are still available also. Are they? Thanks a lot. FWIW, I tstill think SI is cool.
