more crashguard findings...

i keep aol around as one of my isp's. i don't use it often. here's what i encountered today with aol and crashguard (cg):

i've had cg enabled for the last two days. today i opened aol and the screen froze. ctrl + alt + del wouldn't get me out. restart.

came back, tried same clickstream. bummer. got same results. freezeout. this time ctrl + alt + del did allow me to 'end task' aol. got out of aol.

went to norton icon on systemtray and closed cg. reopened aol. no freeze. clicked around opening some stuff. no freeze. closed aol.

conclusion? well, at least for today, aol and cg don't get along.

will i do things differently now? si. continue to run cg (cause so far it seems to be helping with netscape errors), but if i want to open aol, i'll turn cg off. very easily done.

come tomorrow, all of this will probably change! <g3>

:)
