Its unfair to imply that all these other things came up beforehand and si brushed them off, the real story was, there were a few users of the beta that were agressive in pushing their agenda and thats what SI did. It is not unfair. SI has consistently ignored suggestions for improvement from its membership about changes which would make the message boards even more beneficial to the membership. They have been ok on suggestions to add features outside the messaging system (improvements to charting, portfolios, etc.) and they have been quite responsive to the cackling cacophany of color purists and the loud louts of layout perfection. Quality content in the messagebase is what made and continues to make SI great, and to the extent that they can provide a better, more effective and more efficient environment in which to post and peruse they will extend their lead over those would be competitors. Lead from strength, SI; everyone has quotes, charts and portfolios.
