He's a very straight talking, emotionally charged individual whose uses very common thoughts and words and ignores sophisticated and intellectual concepts because that appeals to the American public.

If Carville were conservative, and especially a Republican, he would be derided as an "evil, mean-spirited person" by the very people who now laud him.
