that is a good idea and one that i have successfully tried. i bought a set of 3 dynamo powered flashlights for friends just a couple of weeks ago on ebay from an ebay advertiser. while we are talking about ebay, if you want to buy things privately and not bid publically, of course that is the way to go. saves the seller commissions and keeps your name off the latest spider hunting for doomers lists, of course. i DO expect their grandkids to overwind them just like i used to do my old timex analog watch :) but it was worth a try.
