Oh my my my... Yes, we all know that COMS is the leader in PDA's. Intel has taken over leadership in NIC based upon the recent Giga report I have in my hand. Modems - really... who cares. Broadband - they are already too late. This battle will be owned by LU, NT, and CSCO Wireless - them and everyone else - there are no winners here yet IP Telephony - Again, CSCO has the lead by leaps and bounds. And yes, I do know how amazing IP telephony can be. I seem to recall that LU, MSFT, INTC, NT, and everyone else is quite interested in this space as well. COMS is not dealing from strength here. Finally, talk about dd. I live and work here in San Jose. I'm quite familiar with COMS, their employees, their campus and their failures. Mehrdad - bottom line and I will say no more. THe market for communications products has been growing from 30%-50% over the last 3 years. During that time Cisco (right down the 237) has gone from a $4B company to a $12B company (revenues). COMS has gone from a $6B company to a $6B company. Cisco's market cap has more than quadrupled - COMS has gone DOWN!!! IN THIS MARKET!!!techstocks.com Now, given this past history how in the world can you really believe that COMS will turn around. Benahmou is no Job's. And that aside, the strategy being employed by this company is doomed to fail. They are attempting to compete with me-too products in markets where there are already dominant players. That is a strategy that will simply not work. The PALM is the only leading product and that is this company's destiny. They will fail everywhere else - notwithstanding the long list of "technology" - most of which is public domain - you posted earlier. That's it. I'll say no more on this subject. You are apparently happy with your investment and are convinced that this company will succeed. I am still puzzled as to why given current management and strategies, but that is your business. Good Luck to you. OG
