Gold/Mining/Energy : ORXX - Orex Gold Mines Corporation -- Ignore unavailable to you. Want to Upgrade?

In one of the "Investment Recommendations" the writer discusses two things:

First, the reason that Haber gave the rights to Orex is because of a lack of contacts in the mining industry.

Second, Haber is being paid in shares of Orex (500,000) a demonstration of his faith that Orex will be able to deliver.

The Orex web page has a bio section that states only one of the principles as having any mining experience. The rest of the people seem to come from other backgrounds. Does anyone know if there is more mining experience on the board as advisor to Orex?

Thanks,

sotrade

This is an e-mail I am sending out to the mining magazines and publications ...

August 2, 1999

Dear Editor,

The follow profiled company is one I believe you would be interested in.

OREX GOLD MINES CORPORATION
2121 Ponce de Leon Boulevard
Coral Gables, FL 33134
Investor Relations V.P. George Levy 1-888-749-6739

My name is Gary Swancey and I am a private investor in this stock, which trade on the NASDAQ Over The Counter market under the ticker of OPXX. On March 24, 1999 Orex announced it had obtained a license agreement from Haber, Inc. for rights to commercialize the environmentally safe gold extraction process. The Haber Gold Process (HGP) offers advantages over cyanide in addition to being completely non-toxic: it has been demonstrated to be 6X faster that cyanide and easily recovers micro-fine gold, which cyanide does not.

"Innovations" Quoted from Business Week, April 19, 1999, page 156 - Under the Section Developments to Watch:
"The mining industry hopes to repeal Montana's recent ban on cyanide for extracting precious metals from ores. But Orex Gold Mines Corp. is staking its future on the environmentally friendly Haber Gold Process. Independent tests show that HGP extracts more gold, faster, than cyanide does. Yet HGP's proprietary solvent is non-toxic enough to gargle - just ask its inventor, Norman Haber of Haber Inc. in Towaco, N.J., who has done it. Orex President Warren Hemedinger expects his startup, based in Coral Gables, Fla., to begin pilot HGP extraction at an existing gold mine this summer."

I have done an extreme amount of Due diligence on this company. I have compiled a list of URLs which you can click on that will take to the write up of each header. I believe this is right on target for your magazine, especially since it is up and coming. Also just recently they announced, they have completed the due diligence for World Vanadium, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company and Santa Maria Mining Company, a California corporation. The anticipated closing is scheduled to close prior to or on August 15th, 1999. Of course this could be delayed based on unforeseen events.

However, with this acquisition, the estimated value of the aggregate assets, which include two fully equipped and permitted commercial scale mining operations located firstly on the Colorado Plateau (drilled proven reserves by Union Carbide Corp., (NYSE:UK - news)) and secondly in the Santa Maria River Valley, near Wickenburg, AZ (drilled proven reserves by FMC Corp. and Energy Fuels Corp.) and these reports facilitated the purchase contract with Phelps Dodge (NYSE:PD - news) for gold and silica which was highlighted in the July 13 release, which should qualify Orex. Management anticipates that Orex will be a fully reporting company under federal securities laws prior to year's end.

Please note in this news release the term silica.

The following is a complete URL link to all the information I have on Orex for your review and consideration:

On March 3, 1999 Lucky Seven Mines changed it name to Orex and the Delaware charter was renewed. They reversed into the MMDL shell and changed the ticker to ORXX.

I believe this company would fall in the criteria of the magazine. Please do not hesitate to contact either Warren or Greg should you have any questions at 1-888-749- OREX (6739). Just so you will know I have not recieved, negotiated for nor promised any compensation. I am just a recent small shareholder of the stock.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration in this matter.

Sincerely,

Gary Swancey
