FYI, there is a limitation on the amount of charitable contributions one can deduct for income tax purposes. You can NEVER offset all of your income by making charitable contributions no matter how much you donate.

I wonder if you could be more specific? Perhaps that would require too much detail. Federal tax laws have to my knowledge abandoned the alternative minimum tax, but many state laws still have them.
