Is one allowed if one isn't proper and sophisticated? Well, I mean if one isn't proper? If a person was really sophisticated, would they bother being proper, I wonder. Wouldn't they have transcended the category?

I'm glad you like my Dior. Does it look okay with these sneakers?

I toyed with "were really sophisticated," but went with was. I'm sleepy, so I don't know why.
