I go away for a few hours and come back to find a whole discussion has taken place about Fidelity. Sorry you guys had your accounts frozen. It seems the least they could have done was inform you when they did it. I do think there are problems with every discount broker. But I simply have never had any problems with Fidelity and, in fact, every time I give them a good suggestion as to how to improve something, sooner or later I'm surprised to find they make the change. I have found them to be eminently sensible. Actually, the new "web station" incorporates part of what has been offered in the fox software. It will work, however, only using a *specific* version of the Microsoft Explorer browser. I was disappointed to find out that, once again, owning a Mac puts me behind the 8-ball, as it will not work with a Mac system. I have been relegated to paying a monthly fee for a web-based (java) dynamic quote feed (ww.quote in Canada) that is cheap( $30 per month) and pretty good. But I'm waiting for a package that offers Level II quotes at a low price, even though I don't do that much trading. >>> I will let the proverbial cat out of the bag and reveal to you all that I am currently writing the *first* book on the psychology of cyber-investing (not just day trading). While I will not tell you my name yet, down the line I will tell you more as the book comes closer to its publication date. So, I play with bulletin boards, watch the market closely and read a lot of stuff as research for writing the book, which will be published next year by McGraw Hill. Tentatively titled, "Wealth@Net: The Psychology of Online Investing." Good luck to all and may CMGI wake up and move in the proper direction. And I could use another guaranteed dividend like Sweet Enga real soon! baney
