Meckenstock, thanks for that post. You illustrate the exact reason I am in this stock. When I started getting overseas net2phone-calls some months ago, I began watching the company. I have overseas relatives that use this service exclusively for international calls and it has cut their bills substantially. And, I might add that these are not technical users but people with an eye to save money. As for the quality, I don't think that it is much worse than the satellite links that you used to get before undersea fiber rolled out so substantially. There is some static, a slight delay, and some distortion if you try to talk simultaneously. I do not think that this is an issue at this point. The main reason to use it is cost savings... and this trumps the quality issue by far. You get used to it. After all, your present phone service is not stereo quality, nor was it meant to be. And, by the way, you know IP telephony will get better. These infrastructure issues are being addressed. For domestic long distance calls, they do provide a cost advantage for a heavy user... although their present domestic rates are within striking distance of your "standard" long distance carriers. It is not outside the realm of possibility that the bigger companies could open a price/tarriff war that will attack net2phone prices here. I think that is the reason that they have done much of their marketing offshore (someone please confirm that 60 percent of revenue is foreign). International use has the most obvious benefit and has insulation from such attacks. I like this company out of the gate because it is the only one that I see being used in this space (not that their are not or will not be others). The A&P guy makes a few points which I will keep aware of. True, the public is accepting risk here (that is nature of common stock) and I am willing to take some on this company. I won't bet the farm but I'm not going to stay out either. In the end, the positive energy coming out of this company far outweighs the negatives that I see. Shorters dwell on negative energy. That is who they are and what they do. It is a philosophy. Fine. We need someone to illustrate the negatives in our stocks and in ourselves. I actually like to see them come around because they make things cheaper and pressurize the float for a good company. And one always like to buy good companies cheaper. Time will tell. Its only money.
