wonder if the nets are taking it on the chin because of the court ruling upholding the right of the FCC to impose taxes, specifically the gore tax that makes your phone bill more expensive.

says phone bill will go up anywhere from 4 to 20. says aol will benefit disproportionately, i don't see how. will just make dsl or cable modem more attractive unless aol cuts rates. other nets hurt because it will keep many people from getting on the internet. the logic is the same as the democrats healthcare proposal that will raise costs a small percentage, but that will make insurance unaffordable to millions.
