Mining Business Daily Vol. 13, No.4, April 1999 Table of Contents Orex Gold Mines Corp. page 14 OREX GOLD MINES CORP. New Gold Recovery Process Coral Gables, Fl. (3/24) - Orex has been granted a liscense agreement from Haber, Inc. for the rights to commercialize Haber's environmentally safe gold process. The company said the Haber process has passed the California's Department of Health Services Acute Aquatic Toxicity Bioassy to qualify as non-toxic. Orex plans to design the turnkey mining operation based on the process. The company said the process had been reviewed by four independent engineers studies, one by Pincock, Allen & Holt. In its report, PAH described the Haber process as a "novel method for processing gold ore that offers various advantages over present technologies." PAH further stated that the Haber process "extracted gold in bulk and in significantly less time than is possible with cyanide. Recovery rates were exceptionally good, particularly when compared to cyanide on the ores tested." Orex said that the process did not require any exotic equipment or hardware, unusual engineering in the design or fabrication of a plant and costs the same or less than a cyanide-based plant. No Patent numbers for the Haber Gold Process ... They are keeping it proprietary at this point or patent pending. It is like the the big Coke Cola formula except it is for gold. Other Testing Firms ... PA Technology out of Melborne Australia pilot tested it which is British based firm. Lyntek out of Denver, Colorads efficency and cost vs conventional cyanide.
