Lifetime Television and

Choose Talk City as Online Community

CAMPBELL, Calif., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet community provider
Talk City, Inc. (Nasdaq: TCTY - news) today announced that it has been
tapped to provide online community services for Lifetime Television, a
leading cable television network, and Seattle Post-Intelligencer. These media
outlets join 35 other major media, Internet distribution, and Internet content
concerns which have chosen Talk City to provide online community services
and comprise the growing Talk City Network.

For Lifetime Television, Talk City is the chat provider for the Lifetime
Online Web site ( lifetimetv.com ), managing special event chats
for Lifetime celebrities, as well as an ongoing online discussion about
Lifetime's television programming and issues of concern to site visitors.
Lifetime Online will be promoted on-air on Lifetime Television.

For the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Talk City will provide message boards and
chat for its Web site ( seattlep-i.com ), which will be promoted
in the newspaper.
