Gold took off right out of the gate. . .

Here is Metals and Mining port to show where it went. . .remember the quotes on it are 15 minutes delayed. techstocks.com
Interesting to note that two of the world's largest producers make the best percentage gains each time gold moves. . . nearly twice the average from ASL [Ashanti] and PDG [Placer Dome]. With ABX [Barrick], we have 3 of the top 5 producers.

Still no sustained market rally.

ROSI tried to make a move, but was stopped short. LQID never did take off. . . yet. . .

PRLS has been making some remarkable gains of late. . .this was a 25 dollar stock that got a haircut down to 5 bucks.

ATHM already down a point from where it opened. Daytraders taking it in the shorts. . . daytraders making money in this market are those that buy pre-market and sell into the open, then go home. ATHM was good for a 5 point gain for that group.

Thanks for the response Kevin. The swing in ENGA is quite large right now 28-33. Lately it has sold off heavily in morning and steadily climbed in the afternoon. Highly volatile as you say. Tight stops just get eaten up. I show end of quiet period on 8/12. In the mid 20s this would be a good play, even if just for the bounces.
