SANDISK NAMES MICHAEL GRAY VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE AND JEFF KYLE VICE PRESIDENT OF MATERIALS
SUNNYVALE, CA, August 2, 1999 – SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) announced today that it has named Michael Gray vice president of finance and Jeff Kyle vice president of materials. Gray will continue to report to CFO Cindy Burgdorf and Kyle will continue to report to Ralph Hudson, senior vice president of worldwide operations.

Gray has served as director of finance at SanDisk for over five years and his responsibilities include internal and external financial reporting, treasury, risk management, planning and directing various functions within finance.

Kyle recently joined SanDisk as director of materials. He has considerable experience in supply chain and inventory management which is a major attribute in SanDisk's growing business. Kyle's responsibilities include all supply chain management functions, production and material planning/control, change management and global product distribution.

Gray and Kyle have played key roles in the recent growth of SanDisk, including the major milestone of shipping over one million units in the second quarter this year.

SanDisk Corporation, the world's largest supplier of flash data storage products, designs, manufactures and markets industry-standard, solid-state data, digital imaging and audio storage products using its patented, high density flash memory and controller technology. SanDisk is based in Sunnyvale, CA.
