Thanks for taking the time to answer, Dan. But I have no problem using QCharts to track positions, beyond the fact that with a program this full-featured, there should be a simple "Value" choice in the "Position" sub-menu. For all my positions I have columns for Basis, # of Shares, P/L, P/L today, Return, etc. What I'd love to have is another column based on a field that simply multiplies LAST x #SHARES to give me the current value of that position. Example:

SYMBOL #SHARES LAST VALUE
--------|-----------|----------|------------
ETYS 100 37 3/4 3,775.00

I can't imagine that this would be difficult to add as a feature. And I also don't understand why Gibbons sees fit to answer a plethora of other questions, yet skips over this simple one.

As good a program as this is, it's sad that tech support is non-existent. Any call I make to Quote.com results in being kept on hold for 10 minutes, told to leave a message (that will never be returned), and then disconnected.

But again, thank you for taking the time to respond.

Chop

"If you are in the market for a new,
direct-entry broker, you may want to consider CyberCorp/CyberX. At $14.95 per
trade, it's inexpensive, fast and has pretty good integration with QCharts."

Dan,is this a "web based" system?Do you have a url?

Thanks..David
