Uncle Frank: "Wake me in September".

Exactly what I'm doing! Just think of how the interest-rate paranoia and Greenspan Fed-meeting roiled the markets in June, even AFTER it was a foregone conclusion that rates would be raised 1/4 point. The last five trading days have been a microcosm of what August will be like. IMHO, avoid nibbling at stocks this month and 1st week (or two) in September; it is a form of compulsive gambling. The bull-market is intact, 30-yr T-bill rates will trend lower over the course of the year, inflation will remain low, we will probably get one last 1/4-point interest rate hike on Aug. 23 (24th??), etc., etc., and the fourth quarter should be quite strong for tech stocks AND internets.
