I sure hope so, I have made a lot of money recently buying in the morning and selling in the afternoon. Rob

pat: today's action. NN is holding pretty good considering the tech/internet carnage around it. Even T is down at it's support of 50.It gapped up 25.5 to 28.5 and " all gaps have to be filled ", more slowly than it took to go up by the quick profit takers. There is some resistance overhead at 28 when rumors 3 weeks ago took it down to 23.7. Those guys want out. As soon as they sell, and as soon as more seasoned buyers fill up to 28.5, we'll move higher,
IMHO

TA

PS: It looks like it's starting to move now, even as we speak: Ask 27 1/16 rt.
( I assure I had nothing to do with it ).

I was told any preannouncement would come as late as Wednesday or Thursday b/c
of Monday's holiday.

I have a fairly large web of NN friends and I've not heard anything negative. Perhaps
today's action is just a repeat of yesterday's.

Pat

Pat Mudge: Who told you that "any preannouncement would come as late as Wednesday or Thursday"? This strikes me as a very irresponsible statement to make.

By the way, don't expect that short position to disappear anytime soon. The arbitrageurs are playing with NN, and that will continue until the STII deal is consummated.
