Thanks Edwarda! I am printing out the instructions and putting them in my folder of stuff for the trip. We are making hotel reservations in advance, because of bad experiences trying to find rooms during summer vacation, so we need to plan our trip out in advance, too, of course. My father took one of my sons with him for a week's trip to Canada, they were at Niagara Falls yesterday, and going to Montreal, I think. We are supposed to rendezvous with my father to retrieve our son at a hotel in Boston on Friday, my husband thinks we will have no problem leaving Friday morning and getting there Friday evening. The eclipse is at dawn August 11, and we plan to spend the night before in Halifax. Everything else is up in the air, I've got about 20 guidebooks from the library, and we are trying to figure out what to do.
