Good grief, Cobe, you silly girl!!! You didn't run anyone off! I could care less what anyone's personal feelings are about SI Beta!! If anyone feels angry at you about that, I will smack them. XXXXX is just an old playground that we lived in before DAR. Same people! All the talk about losing threads in the transition made me worry they would throw out dead ones, and I went to open it, and started reminiscing. A lot of parties happened there. Can you really think I'd leave DAR??????? Ha!!! Good luck! Here, you can even have one of my boxes of wine and a straw all to yourself at the party.

You're making me mad. I get mad. You're rong about everything in that post except GO2Net. And worrying about them is like worrying about Al Gore. Oh, and SI being a gift. We got lucky. For me, it happens to be the only compensation for investing so far. And ~ that's okay. It's worth it. Come over here and bend over my knee. There is a hummingbird right out the window in the fuchsia. MJ says "Rufus." How does she know that. "It's Carl," I say, to see if she really knows. Fuchsia I bet means foxes, but I haven't seen any of them in the hanging baskets. When he's gone, you're getting spanked.

Coby, the original genesis of XXXXX was indeed largely with the purpose of evading the presence of a certain most execrable someone. He is truly a legend in his own time, and his posts are quite...well...illuminating. Suffice to say, after a time he found himself pontificating to no one in particular. You may have a looksee, his name is Ignacio Mosqueira, and you will find a wealth of pugilistic postings in earlier Feelies stuff, as well as Ask John Galt. This time around, though, it was simply a bit of gallivanting by some of us oldsters here. And trust me, Coby, no matter how much you may think you pissed everyone off, and I rather doubt that you did, you couldn't in your wildest imaginings come close to the vaunted abilities of the good Mr. Mosqueira.
