Paul -- can't disagree with you there. I think we are moving into stage 2 now -- the downside leaders drag the rest of the market to the cliff and the broader market picks up speed to the downside as it falls off. Call it the roller coaster model if you like. The nets are sitting in the front seats looking down. The S&P thinks it is not going to go down much -- until they see over the cliff and go down with the rest. Why should all this happen? Same reason all of this is happening -- first tens and then hundreds of billions of dollars moving offshore as economic conditions dictate. There is no such thing as water at one end of the pool and none at the other.
