Vendit and thread. There was a report on CNBC just now that there was another rumor about AOL earlier. I guess that's when AOL sank to its low. Anyhow, Maria B. mentioned that AOL officials told analysts that the rumor was not true.

I guess I should mention what the rumor was. AOL's subscriber growth is slowing. Again. AOL denied it. I am glad that AOL responded quickly. More cos. should do that.

What those shorts won't do.

looks like we have reached bottom? this is the second time we came to touch down at 88-89 this year. today we went below last 88-89 area.
looks like shorts maybe covering now.

Today I sold my puts and covered my short calls.
Went long 2001 (90) leaps and Jan 2000 (120) calls.
My core holding will be left untouched for several years.
It looks like October parade is starting to come early this year.
May be another parade is waiting for Y2K.
