Okay.....but, you know, there is a longstanding suspicion of international capital on the far- Right as well as the far- Left (Lord knows which hates David Rockefeller more), a feeling that the financial elite is "cosmopolitan" and not patriotic, and willing to sell- out the country for its own good. It is one of those populist ideas that can go either way. Plenty of people were presupposed to believe the worst.....
