Go2Net moving to bigger Seattle headquarters
SEATTLE, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Internet portal company Go2Net Inc. (Nasdaq:GNET - news) said on Tuesday that it would move its Seattle headquarters to a larger office in the spring of 2000 to make room for rapid hiring growth.

Go2Net's new 80,000-square foot waterfront home will double the size of its current Seattle office, as it adds some 20 to 30 jobs a month to its overall job base of 190, spokesman Mark Petersen said.

Of those 190 employees, about 150 work in Seattle, he added. The company has grown from about 100 employees at the start of 1999.

''We anticipate continued rapid rates of growth. We currently have dozens of job openings,'' Petersen said.
