Morgan Stanley (7/22/99) has LSI as a Strong Buy. They increased 12-month stock price from $60/sh to $75/sh.

They indicated the stock to find support in the mid to high $40's.

They are looking for a EPS of $2.20 in 2000.

Time will tell..Dave

Who is Kaufman Brothers? Could they move more than 1000 shares of stock?

Well, after selling out after the ride to 50, I'm back in today with a smaller position at 45-15/16. Fundamentals are just too strong to ignore, IMHO.

I'm expecting some more weakness around the secondary, as the new bond holders sell to hedge the convertible feature, so I'm keeping some $$ on the sidelines.

Some valuation comparisons from Yahoo:

LSI: Price to Book= 4.87, Price to Sales= 4.0
XLNX:Price to Book= 10.95 Price to sales= 13.58
TXN: Price to Book= 8.28 Price to Sales= 6.69
PMCS:Price to Book= 28.01 Price to Sales= 29.04
INTC:Price to Book= 9.57 Price to Sales= 8.81
