Well, it is a protest song, but by no means american. They're a (god I hope I got this right) Irish band who are psuedo punk. Kinda hard rock, but not heavy metal. You can probably find them at your local NRM or record town (Or Empire Records type store). "Fire of Freedom" and one other album have a lot of crossover songs. Ever hear of "Maria's Wedding"? It is one of the funniest songs I think I've ever heard... Hard still though. If you like World Party or hard rock(not like the crappy hair bands, more like early stones, etc...) you will probably like them.

ps. if you live in Jersey you may have heard em play at a night club ...
