<Like a few other folks here Scumbria, Pravin etc AMD is by far my largest stock holding after my latest purchase.>

Kash,

I myself am a proud member of the esteemed AMD kamikaze brotherhood. I joined the brotherhood under the premise that AMD succeeded in designing and manufacturing the fastest x86 CPU on the planet. I will remain a loyal member as long as the premise holds.

<I hope like hell the announcement and run up happen next week>

The AMD stock action suggests either utter stupidity of investors or more Athlon introduction delays. I prefer the utter stupidity, but will take delays in stride.

Athlon will happen. Do you hear A$$ok Kumar?

Kap.

Re: "They did everything according to the rules, but didn't submit and get approval from SPEC so they are officially 'estimated' values. "

That's because SPEC rules require a system to be available for the values to be official. I believe the numbers are accurate just like the systems are unavailable.
