Yes, BIG TUESDAY, which was actually Thursday, with 370 posts in 24 hours was expected [I think it was LindyBill predicted Big Tuesday] along with the high prices. Now, that enthusiasm is being pounded back into reality as each new day and each new millenium inevitably becomes just another prosaic day in the life of bumbling primates who have made it into a concrete jungle instead of the forest. The latest Globalstar launch slipped because some chimp has dropped a monkey wrench and dinged a rocket motor casing. But progress will continue because there is no choice. The rockets will rise. The stock price will too as the dream of global mobile handsets gradually becomes profitable reality and just another dull technology, quickly absorbed by the chimps in the concrete jungle as they do everything else, immediately looking for the next thing. Morgan, are you still there or preparing to sue Su? What do you think now about Q! management being a pack of idiots for raising $1bn at $156.50? What about the rest of you? Come on, come out grovelling on your stupid knees and apologize to those people who have increased your pathetic value despite yourselves and your ignorance. You fools who think $ill Gates is the bad guy though he has helped hold you out of the swamp where you would absolutely be if not for him and his ilk providing the brainpower in sufficient quantity to enable 300m people, most of whom can barely achieve getting out of bed and to work on time, to live a standard of living unimaginable to all of human history. If you are lucky, $ill Gates will also kill off a swarm of diseases which have ravaged people for millennia. Such as Smallpox was killed off. Alan Green$pan who has run a monetary system which has sustained the biggest economic development ever by an order of magnitude is another who you should genuflect to. Maybe he doesn't understand the baubles and orthogonality of The New Paradigm. He doesn't have to. He just has to keep the money system steady as she goes. Stable prices is not a bad way of doing that. That does hand the deflationary advantage of The New Paradigm to the people in the market who understand it and are prepared to put their money where their mouth is. That's called the market in action. Many of you claim to support free markets, then whine when Alan Green$pan keeps prices stable, raises interest rates a bit or cuts the money supply somewhat. He's just moving his prices around according to demand. Same as Qualcomm does with the ThinPhone. Same as you do with the Q! stock price, which is just another type of currency. If you don't like Alan Green$pan's currency, don't use it! Don't borrow it. Don't hold it. Okay, you need a few dollars to buy groceries, but that's small change and not what we are talking about in the stockmarket. Okay, rant button off! Sure is a nice day. Mqurice PS: Those who were whining like a fleet of 747s that $156.50 and $1bn for 6.9m shares was too cheap for Q! will by now have stocked up with heaps and heaps of super bargain-priced Q! [John, this post isn't directed at you personally - hope you realize that!!]
