on you? It seems to.


Sometimes it does. For example, I really don't want to know how many roach hairs and parts the federal government allows to be in my morning oatmeal. I don't care to see 1000x magnified photographs of the bugs which inhabit my bed while I sleep. I don't need to hear the screams of children being burned by napalm to know that it is bad stuff. I don't care to know all the truth about what my adult son and his girlfriend do when he spends the night at her house.

Yes, some truths detract from rather than add to my life.
