This is nonsense. There may be certain psychological truths in myths but they hardly rise to the level of certainty that I would need in order to trust them, as I trust, for example, the science that built an airplane when I fly in one. Do you have any scientific training?

Again- I have no idea what you are responding to, but it can't be anything I said because I believe truth is illusive. But that doesn't mean I want to pick one story, one "myth", and cling to it for dear life because my culture will go down the drain if I don't.

As for "unpleasant" truths, they don't go away because you ignore them. Or maybe they do for you- they don't for me.
