World Wrestling Federation Sites Join The Adsmart Network
Top Web Sports Site Joins Leading Online Advertising Network

ANDOVER, MA — August 2, 1999 — Adsmart (http://www.adsmart.net), a majority-owned subsidiary of CMGI, Inc. (Nasdaq: CMGI), today announced that the official Web sites of the World Wrestling Federation (www.wwf.com) are the latest additions to the company's online advertising Network of more than 300 brand web sites. As part of the agreement, Adsmart will sell impressions for the WWF New Media Network, including www.wwf.com, www.wrestlemaniaxv.com, and www.stonecold.com.

"We are thrilled to welcome the World Wrestling Federation, one of our largest Web site partners to date, and according to Media Metrix, the number one sports Web site among male teens," said John Federman, Chairman and CEO of Adsmart. "WWF is a great example of the type of premium brand Web sites that represent the Adsmart Network, and we look forward to working with them to promote their brand and generate a strong revenue stream for their sites."

WWF is just one of the many well-known brand name Web sites to join Adsmart in recent weeks. Last month Adsmart also signed U.S. News Online, Fast Company, New York magazine, Atlantic Monthly, and Soap Opera Digest.

"Between the partnership with Adsmart and our own internal sales force, we will be able to increase our footprint with advertisers, sharing the news of our success and the benefits we bring to Web advertisers," said Craig Cassanelli, Vice President, New Media Sales.
