Oh, I tend to just throw caution to the wind...

Either the right things will happen and folks
will be scrambling to buy this and others will
be covering short positions...or maybe the
company will start redeeming those BS shares,
don't know where the money will come from, but
25M is just too low a price for Ariad's science
and licenses. Am I overly dazzled, not being
a molecular biologist and all, well sure. But
that's not interesting. The best biofreaks here
on SI are being whipsawed in SEPR, go figure, it's
all pretty stupid.

Post EPO in Science we had $4, then it was halved
quickly...and I started buying again...
Then it was halved again...and tested a buck.
I really don't think the powers that be are
going to let it spend any significant time below
a buck...too much potential later on. And if the
game is to keep it moving and churning, why
shake everybody out? Seems like it would be
smarter to keep it in a trading range from $1
to $4 for the next year or so.

I've no idea how this is all going to end. I hope
Berger goes back to Amgen and takes 100M, but who
can say? If he does not, maybe that means they've got
some great stuff coming, in which case we would be
pissed he sold out.

You don't get many chances to make a large bet
on something that you like at the right price.
I've whined and whined here and on Yahoo, but
truth be told, it was all just to shake things
up and get people to come out of hiding with
what they know, which turns out not to have been
very useful, but it was worth trying.

It's pretty obvious I doubled down just above a
buck last week, I'm sure the handful of folks
who lurk here figured that out. And sure, by
doubling down, I disregarded everything a "good
trader" is supposed to do. But screw it, even if
I take a big hit...I'll probably come out close
to even for the year. Like I said before, I'll
just start over again next year.
