Just because Datek has screwed others on fills is not a good reason for me to accept it. . . There are only 2 reasons for a market order to take 3 minutes to execute; incompetence or thievery. In either case I believe I am owed restitution. To anyone else who has lost money on slow executions of market orders I urge you not to accept the losses. Only if enough people complain and force restitution will Datek fix this problem. Right now they are getting a free ride on other people's money. If Datek does not fix this for me I will look at formal complaint mechanisms with the SEC, NASD and any other appropriate bodies. I urge you to do the same if you have been screwed.
