Adam - Re; Scumbria Impression.

Yep.

I have been steadily averaging INTC in (every two weeks), and for the past few years I have been increasing the amount in the 1st 2 Q's of the respective years. IMHO, this effectively takes me out of the Scumbria arguments.

BTW, just because no one has mentioned it yet, 72 15/16 is a new all time closing high. Actually, the stock broke out of the range earlier than I expected, as I was actually caught by surprise by the run-up to 140 at the beginning of the year.

Adam - Re: "Here's my Scumbria impression: "You naive Intel investors. If I had bought INTC exactly at its intraday high of 71 27/32 back on Jan 20th, I'd have a gain of about 1.5% over six months - worse than my money market account! If you had listened to me, however, and loaded up on AMD at $17 in late June, you'd be up...er...well...oh never mind. Intel sucks! - Scumbria"

BRAVO !

You win the prize for the best SCUMBrian imitation.
