Maybe we could borrow Peter Church from the WIND thread and get him to catalog all of our posts.

To go where no other SI thread has gone before.

But seriously, it will take extensive research and contributions from many. I see a serious need for posters to step forward with accounting backgrounds as participants. I personally would like to see historical spreadsheets of quarterly DSOs, % COGS, %GM, %OP, %R&D of sales, %SG&A, etc. I don't feel there is a need to create info available from other sites like dailystocks.net
but that could certainly be a link. Besides being informative I believe we should have fun creating the site and songs, poems and and famous quotes, e.g. 'If MRVC didn't report any bad news there wouldn't be any news at all' or "Go Hurricanes" should be included. (I have some MRVC animations to include if your site allows PERL scripting.)

Now to some of you suggestions.

1) Sector is care taker of the spreadsheet and I guess it will be modified with additional info from Jack and Greg. (Sector Help).

2) Much of Sector's Herculean efforts and analyses should be referenced or incorporated. What type of files can you FTP? - Word and Powerpoint documents.

3)MRVC=Margalit, Rav-Noy, R?, Communications

4)Suggesations open to all.

Also, I have a hard time wading thru SEC filings. I would like a synopsis of say acquisitions by MRV for how much and when - maybe with footnotes. The warrants of 500,000 shares by Intel are expiring in 11/99 at $20 - is this important?. I forget when the Xyplex warrants expire or when the secondary was issued, when the stock split, when the Debentures are due, etc.

IMO, and outline of information desired by thread members should be developed and fleshed out say over the next several weeks. Then perhaps an area of interest would be worked on for say one month and the following month another area. I would hope that the MRV Investor site could proceed at least at the same pace as mrv.com <VBG>.

Comments please.
