PB,

<BTW, do you expect any major Japaneese OEM's to announce support for K7 at launch?>

Between Toshiba/NEC/Fujitsu, I would expect decent adoption before the quarter is out but whether they are there at launch or not I do not know.

Chuck

PB re <<do you expect any major Japaneese OEM's to announce support for K7 at launch?>>

You need to keep things in perspective. Considering the number of available K7's at launch(even using the most optimistic estimates) AMD can not handle the required volume to satisfy more than 2 or 3 big OEM's. Compaq, IBM and Gateway have prioroties. Japaneese OEM's will follow and so will Dell, Gateway will support K7 this quarter.

Any comments on the reported successful implementaion of copper in Dresden, no report of major contamination issues ;-)
