"Competing effectively" and "competitive performance" can be different things. Are you saying by the above statement that Intel can outmarket AMD if it can ship CuMine within, say, 5% of Athlon's integer performance and 25% of FP performance? Can you clarify things a little in the following areas:

1. What would you say CuMine's performance will be in Integer and FP, compared to Athlon? -10%? -5%? same? +5%? +10%?

2. What speeds do you expect CuMine and Athlon to be shipping at for Christmas and for Q1?

That would help understand your perspective.
