I think it laughs-ATH-long at about 45 watts.
We won't know for sure until the thing limps-A-thlong though the door. If it's still MIA next week then something is wrong, very wrong.
Then I think about a 40 watt light bulb. Still pretty hot.
Then I wonder why nobody took a chance on making a motherboard in advance. Then I think about AMDs track record, and a light goes on in my head. <G>

I (yes I am butting in) don't. I have heard the following numbers,

43.5 W for 600 MHz
40.0 W for 550 MHz
36.5 W for 500 MHz

What do you think? They are much lower than your old guesses.
