On the subject of DSL- it has come to my attention from a news list that anyone can locate their RBOC CO switch on www.mapquest.com. Just put in your area code and prefix, and a star appears on the map.
Also, a list of the exact addresses of COs is available for download at www.BCPM2.com. This site contains the FCC's Benchmark Cost Proxy Model software for modeling deployment costs. I haven't downloaded it but I understand one can model the number of subscribers qualifiable for ADSL with it for any given area. Tim
