Hi Kevin Watson; The sad fact of economic life is that unless the internet companies start buying back their shares big time, (and they have nowhere near enough cash to purchase more than a tiny fraction of their own shares, so forget that plan), someone is going to have to hold the bag while these stocks drop to fundamental value.

My theory is that the institutions have a better idea of what fundamental value is (maybe they still have some ancient analyst around who's heard about it, though he has probably been long since demoted to fetching coffee for the twenty somethings), than the little guys, and that they are going to do everything they can to arrange for a transfer of shares to the greedy little pigs before the big drops.

Pretty soon, I expect to Goldman Sucks(sp?) to issue a press release suggesting that investors in AMZN squeeze the shorts by calling for their certs. What's her name will be on TV, waving a stock certificate around...
