Canelo said is concerned about poor technical performance in Internet stocks, noting the ``head and shoulders' pattern in TheStreet.com's index of cyber-stocks (^DOT - news).

I saw him on CNBC yesterday and he talked about a few indices. Unfortunately I don't recall if the H&S was confirmed, or he was worried about it, or what. The gist of the interview was bearish for the nets. (duh)

Robert -- time will tell. The patterns don't drive the market -- the market drives the patterns. Seeing the patterns provides market clues -- but there is more to it than that -- there ARE fundamentals -- and they say the patterns will leave tire tracks on those standing in the way. I wish it wasn't so, even though you might think otherwise. But I will stay long gold calls and short this market so long as this market has the sound of air hissing from a dozen holes.
