The best thing about this board is that even on the worst of days it is worth reading. TLindt, you summed it up, I was a buyer of Tandy in the early 1970s when the world didn't know what a computer was. In fact, most people thought I just liked their free battery coupons. You have to have vision and be prepared to be patient. Those who buy the day before a stock skyrockets think their advisor can do no wrong. Those that buy two months too early and hold take credit themselves. Those that buy six months too early and sell at a loss prior to the prolific gain bring an arbitration action. In any of the above cases the advisor was right -- it is all in one's own perspective but vision and foresight rule in the long term.

I do think this last quarter was a good one and we are beginning to see some of the results of the competitors like SONE -- beat the street and whisper -- probably get killed in the morning. Oh well, better days to come -- hopefully sooner than later. Either way, I'll be there with CKFR and BLLS and of course, INTF.

Going on vacation from Aug.7 to Aug.15.

Me too, only 1 day shifted forward, from Aug. 8 to Aug. 16.

I'm trying to summon the cajones to buy this stock again, and then go on vacation, cut off from watching the market.

The first time I bought this stock was at $36-3/8, on the trip down from $40. I endured the fall to $25, then bailed out of those shares at $32~1/2, for a four point loss.

Now we are 10 points lower than my original buy-point on June 9th, only two months ago.

This is a really good company, with really good technology, top flight customers, and one really really top flight customer coming on line, supposedly.

OTOH, I don't think that either Yahoo nor CKFR has officially announced that deal that everyone assumes will happen. However, analysts seem pretty sure about it, and I have to assume they're not just making guesses. What if the Yahoo deal has come apart, and we just don't know it yet. Ouch. OTOH again, one plugged-in-sounding analyst said that the announcement of the Yhoo/CKFR bill-pay was only temporarily delayed, by 30-60 days. That was ~June 24th, after the TEX announcement.

Do I feel lucky? Wellllllll, do I?
