Pruguy,

More of a coach than a cheerleader...

If a popular analyst recommends STRONG BUY on the Internet leader AOL and a famous strategist from the same company says he's "worried about weakness in Internet stocks" and recommends "clients pull some money out of U.S. stocks and raise their cash positions," which analyst/strategist should people listen to? Maybe neither. : )

What kind of jackass response is that? I know the difference and suffice it to say, it's a bad call on his part. You imply that your in the field yourself and whatever the "name" put on to an "advsor", "analyst" or "strategist" it's a gutless call.

If you are in the field and agree with this on symantics only, you need to find new work. There is no excuse for being a reactionist with poor timing. This leads to losing money. Check October of 98 and you'll see the same bafoons making the same calls.

Buy low, sell high...pretty simple.

BTW, I was short YHOO @190 among others so don't start. I was advising people I know to get out and that a top was in until late this year(December), for the record.

Sabre!
