The "weight" of reputable scientists declared heavier than air machines could never fly, either. In fact, some aeronautical professors still refused to believe the Wright Brothers' plane flew EIGHT YEARS after the fact. They were convinced it was a trick.

As Arthur C. Clarke once observed: "Never trust a scientist over 30."

It sure sounds exciting. A 65% infection rate would eliminate most of the third world. Who will pick the lettuce?
